Well, I'm doing it!
I had contemplated this Country Living inspired paint before, from a post on My Sweet Savanah. Now, Kimba at ASPTL has rehab-ed a dresser using the Caromal Colors and I am in love with the finish!
I'm entering her contest to win a product kit, and when I win, my cabinets are going to look like this...
Well, except for the unpainted corner!
We saw cabinets with this finish on the 2009 Tulsa Parade of Homes, so this finish isn't just a DIY fad, it's a designer choice for cabinet finishes and I personally hope it stays around for quite a while.
I love the aged look of these cabinets, and I can't wait to turn this:

So, Kimba and Patty, count me in! And I bet I could do my little kitchen for under $75, even if I didn't win the kit.

Ever since Sweet Savannah post about Caromal Colors...I've decided that's what I will use to do our kitchen cabinets too. I especially like the no sanding part! I'm not tackling that project till October but look forward to seeing how yours turn out!
