I hit a few thrift stores today and picked up a few treasues. The cream colored I.Godinger & Co. pitchers were $3, and will take their places above the cabinets in the kitchen as part of the new black and white color theme.
Then, I found the dice plates below, which will work nicely with the Bunco Birthday coming up. I was so excited to find these. Who would have thought I would find them, of all things! I still don't have all the actual dice for the party, but I'm sure I'll find them, too.
The plates are Restoration Hardware pieces, discontinued, 6 for $4, thank you very much, or $49.99 on evilBay.
Lastly, I found the hardware for the shed door. I visited the Habitat reStore in Tulsa and got 4 medium black strap style hinges, one decorative door pull, and a large, locking bolt latch for $5!! This would have been atleast $20 retail, so I'm pretty excited about that find. I can't wait to get the paint and wood, and transform that ugly door!
It's also time to start my seeds, so hopefully tomorrow I can get the potting soil, paint, and wood, and be ready for the weekend, when hubby can help me with the power tools.

Love, Love, Love it!
Inspiring. Can't wait to see it and I love a black and white theme. I've thought of adding some black and white toile in my living room and kitchen. I think it looks nice with the green I have. But, then, the rug...wouldn't match. So...maybe someday. Can't wait to see what you do!
I LOVE those creamers! What a wonderful find! Those plates were a good find too!

Those plates will be great for your party!
You are inspiring me to hit the thrift stores. I have given up on decorating, I just don't seem to have any sense of style AND I hate spending money...so maybe the thrift stores will be the answer. I have turned into a minimalist and really just don't decorate my house, but every now and then there are a few little things I would like. :)

Wow! You got some awesome deals Tammy! I want to shop with you. I love your white pitchers. I need to go shopping in thrift stores more. I never seem to find anything so it discourages me. Maybe I am not going often enough? I usually only go to Goodwill so maybe that is too limiting? ~Kim B.
