I would just stay off Craigslist! Between buying and selling, I'm staying just a little ahead of all that needs to be done around this house. Plus, add in spending quality time fishing with the family, putting finishing touches on kitchen remodel projects, and preparing for some upcoming teaching opportunities, and I'm pretty much not blogging like I had hoped this summer!
Oh well. In the end my family will know I loved them because I gave them of my time and energy, my house values will increase because of all this work I'm putting into it, and my pocketbook will be all the richer because I did it on a budget.
Here's what I just snagged today...
Sorry about the mess in the picture, but my camera batteries are dead, so I had to use the Craigslist picture to show the table and SIX upholstered chairs I picked up today for a mere $150! I'm so excited! (The chairs are not spotted, it's just the way the fabric appeared in the photo.)
Yes, these are Pottery Barn Napoleon Chair knock-offs in a distressed cream finish! Can you believe it? I'm reselling the table, and the chairs will now be married to my round claw-foot table, which I will probably paint to match the chairs. I can't wait to post pictures of my kitchen now. Hopefully tomorrow...

How exciting!! Now you need to start getting that sand hauled over to your back yard so that it looks like a beach house on the outside as well.

Wonderful set! I'm looking for a sofa for my family room so I started looking on Craigslist - it's addicting!
