More thoughts on home education!

"One who acquires knowledge, but knows not what to do with it, is no more than a donkey carrying a load of books."

It is not our goal to be always learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth.

Our goal is to prepare our children for a life of service in the knowledge of God. This involves training the whole person; spirit, soul, and body to walk in the truth, to draw biblical conclusions, to see and implement solutions.

I believe in a three-sided approach to home education, which includes God's Word, God's World, and God's spirit, which leads us in curriculum choices, ideas, and the timing of presenting these to the student. Working together with the Spirit, we can inspire our children, spark their interest, and inspire them to pursue the call of God on their lives.
